Upcoming hybrid vehicles
Hybrid vehicles are becoming a hot topic in the automotive world. With so many people now having an eye to the environment car buyers are looking for affordable, well designed cars that will also help them cut their CO2 emissions whilst saving on fuel costs.
The success and popularity of two of the flagship hybrid technology cars, the Toyota Prius and Lexus Hybrid Drive range, has more and more car manufacturers seeing the benefits of moving into this, more energy conscious, market.
It's not surprising, with governments around the world starting to set tougher restrictions on such things as carbon dioxide emissions, restrictions that will hit both the car manufacturers and the customers where it hurts - in the pocket, for any that don't adhere to the rules.
So for those reasons we should be seeing a dramatic increase in the amount of hybrid vehicles available to the car buying public. A number of these cars are very eagerly anticipated.
